Travel updates for passengers impacted at the terminal:
How do I get real-time updates about my flight / flight status?

To get the latest flight information: 

  • Visit your respective airline’s website and app 
  • Updates available on HIA’s website and application 
  • Latest information updated on the flight display screens within the terminal 
  • Key updates on flights and gate information will be announced at the terminal

 

I have been at the airport for a long time. What support is available?

We have deployed additional staff and volunteers across the terminal to assist you.

  • Rebooking Cancelled Flights: Qatar Airways passengers please visit the respective customer service desks and for other airlines, please visit the Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) customer service desk.
  • Rest Areas: We have quiet rooms for passengers to rest across the airport and a dedicated Muzn lounge for children with disabilities, open 24 / 7.
  • F&B: Qatar Airways and its partner airlines’ passengers can get access to food and beverages from the below locations, using their valid boarding pass:

    - Food court in front of LampBear

    - Oura located the Orchard (indoor garden)

    - Food courts located at boarding gate C 35 - 38

  • Special assistance for families: Passengers travelling with children can approach customer service staff or our volunteers for emergency supplies.

If my flight is cancelled, where do I go?

If you are a passenger travelling with Qatar Airways passengers, please visit the airline’s customer service desks and for other airlines, please visit the Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) customer service desk.

I am at the airport transfer area with my family (children / elderly), what support can I get? 

We are providing assistance to passengers travelling as a family:

  • Emergency Supplies: We have supplies available for passengers, please reach out to our customer service team or volunteers to assist you. 
  • Medical Assistance: Should you require medical assistance, please reach out to our customer service team or volunteers to contact the respective medical services.
  • Muzn Lounge: This is a dedicated sensory room for children with disabilities (age 2 – 12) located between C7 and C9 and is open 24 / 7.
  • Family facilities: We have baby changing rooms, parent rooms and quiet rooms that can be used when required.

I need support with meals at the airport, is there a service available?

We have food courts available across the airport terminal and a selection of dining venues. Qatar Airways and its partner airlines’ passengers can get access to food and beverages from the below locations, using their valid boarding pass:

  • Food court in front of LampBear
  • Oura located the Orchard (indoor garden)
  • Food courts located at boarding gate C 35 - 38

I have landed at the airport and missed my flight connection, what do I do now?

If you have missed your connecting flight, we have rebooking desks located at the airport for passengers travelling with Qatar Airways and other airlines (Qatar Aviation Services).

I was at the airport ready to check-in for my flight, but it is cancelled. Where do I go?
  • If you are at the check-in hall and flying with Qatar Airways, you can visit the ticketing counter located near row 6 and Le Petit Camion or row 4, near the immigration. 
  • If you are travelling with another airline, then visit the Qatar Aviation Services desk near check in row 9.

 

I am at the airport overnight, what do I do?

Here are a few options should you be at the airport overnight:

  • The airport has rest areas, quiet rooms available across the terminal
  • Sleeping pods available at the airport (subject to availability)
  • The ORCHARD, indoor garden offers a calm space to rest with F&B available around the area
  • To help navigate through the airport, use the wayfinding kiosks and QR codes distributed across the terminal

 

I want to return to Doha, since my flight is cancelled. Can I leave the airport?

Residents and eligible passengers can choose to exit the airport by following the arrival procedures to re-enter the State of Qatar.

To claim for your baggage:

  • Visit Baggage Claim office located at the baggage claim area
  • There might be some delays, and we aim to reunite passengers with their bags as soon as possible.
